Before developing her current interdisciplinary practice, Kristina Polakovic worked extensively with fashion as a medium of body, material and constructed identity.

These selected works trace an early interest in silhouette, textile, form and the relationship between the human body and its visual environment.

Rather than functioning as a commercial fashion archive, the series is presented as part of an evolving artistic practice in which clothing becomes a structure around the body — shaping identity, posture, movement and visual perception.
